Pastor's Biography
Pastor Claude L. Williams is an anointed and passionate teacher of the Word of God. He is one of seven children born to Deacon Archie Williams Sr. and Mother Ruby Williams. He has been married to Lady Gigi Williams for over 15 years and they have six children which
includes two adult children, three minor children, and one that has gone on to be with the Lord. Pastor Claude is employed full time as a Security Major at North Florida Evaluation and Treatment Center.
Pastor Claude served for seven years under Pastor James E. McKnight Jr. with Starke Church of God by Faith. He served as Pastor McKnight's armor-bearer, ministered the Word of God to the congregation on Sunday and Wednesday evenings, taught adult Sunday school, and New Members classes. He also facilitated the Men's Ministry and Prayer meetings along with several other ministerial duties.
Pastor Claude received the call from God to preach and teach the life changing Word of God in 2003 - when God established the United Covenant House of Prayer church. In April 2003, Pastor Williams began holding church services in a local hotel located on University Avenue in Gainesville, FL. A year and a half later, God blessed the UCHOP family with a church building that is adjacent to Ignite Life Center.
UCHOP Vision
Our vision is that everyone within our community and beyond has the knowledge and salvation of Jesus Christ. We will lead them to maturity in Christ through prayer and the teachings and preaching of God's Word. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we will accomplish our vision by following the life and the teachings of Jesus Christ. The vision will be accomplished through the people assigned by God for this ministry.
UCHOP Mission
Our mission is to prayerfully reach the unsaved, unloved, and unchurched within our families, schools, jails, hospitals, street corners and drug clinics. We will serve the whole person - spiritually, physically, emotionally, and financially - that they will discover and utilize the gifts, visions, and glory that God has in them. As God causes the increase, the church will be built from the inside-out.
